New Exhibitions Open at ArtsBank...
This October we are delighted to present four brand new exhibitions showcasing the work of four very different artists. Peter Goodfellow’s dramatic landscape paintings are presented alongside examples of his work as a freelance illustrator. The watercolour paintings of Walter C. Foster (1887-1929) provide a fascinating insight into the landscape of the east coast as it was one hundred years ago. Mike Thomas-Munroe’s new exhibition, Cocos, Cafes and Comic Books, has been inspired by his quest for real pirate gold, long lost on a deserted Spanish island. And the work of renowned local photographer Robin Dale is presented in a brand new exhibition, featuring never before seen images of 1970s and 1980s Middlesbrough and the surrounding area.
