Born in Cambridge in 1967, Charlotte graduated from the Slade School of Art, London in 1992 since when she has been print making and painting full-time.
Working mainly in acrylic, Charlotte's paintings all have figurative starting points. Her personal experiences and the imagery collected from travelling are then gradually abstracted with shapes and images moving towards a more symbolic form. Colour has always played a vital role in this process.
Charlotte has exhibited worldwide including a touring exhibition of Japan in 2008 and her work has been shown alongside names such as Sir Terry Frost, Sandra Blow and Sir Peter Blake.
