Tracy Savage was born in 1963 in Rugby ,Warwickshire. She Graduated from the West Surrey Institute of Art & Design in 1988 with a B.A.Honours Degree in Fine art.

Tracy worked for several years in the print industry and then later in education.

Since opening her studio and pottery to the public in 2005 Tracy’s paintings are proving to be a great success and the open studio has provided the East Yorkshire coast with a ‘gem’ of a visitor attraction.

Tracy’s paintings are concerned with subjects that intrigue her - from the design of landscape to story like imagery. She likes to create places for the onlooker to escape to - away from daily reality.

In addition to Tracy’s figurative works, she likes to explore more abstracted themes. Using colour, mood and patina to create works that are less literal, inviting emotional response.
