Leo Stevenson
Leo’s art is designed to be a back-to-basics approach to connect to real people. Leo’s strongly feels that art should speak to the viewer at an emotional level before it says anything on an intellectual level. He tries to fill his paintings with atmosphere. His aim is to appeal to the viewer through feelings and shared experiences rather than trying to make them understand it through any explanatory text. He also believes in the “craft of art” – the importance of good craft skills when making any kind of visual art.
