Gina Morton
Gina finds inspiration from the effects of natural light on a variety of subjects including landscape, animals & figures, and enjoys painting watercolours outdoors during the summer months. When completing highly detailed miniatures and more complex watercolour compositions Gina uses a camera for reference.
Gina is a member of the Royal Society of Miniature Painters Sculptors & Gravers, the Hilliard Society and the Society of Limners, and has won several awards for her miniatures, including the RMS Gold Bowl in 2005.
She has also served as Hon. Secretary of Darlington Society of Arts from 1977 to 2007.
