Clare Money
Having always been fascinated by vast industrial spaces and buildings, Clare has worked on projects around shipyards and docks. Clare first drew the steel works as an art student and twenty years later she got the opportunity to see it all close up.
Clare found the size and complexity of the machinery was awe inspiring as was the sheer scale of the place. She was amazed by the riverside cranes - less a piece of equipment but more a labyrinth of iron stained walkways, platforms and beams with immeasurably long cables hanging from the towering arms. “Delicate looking from a distance they diminish anyone in proximity.”
