Chris was born in London, Edgware. He was raised in Brighton in the 70’s and showed a passion for photography from a very early age. After learning the craft through an apprenticeship with Brian Phipps he worked as a freelance photographer for National Newspapers and magazines in London in the 80’s. He spent the early 90s travelling the Far East capturing people within their environment, which led to an exhibition in London of his work. Chris is now living and working as a professional photographer in The North East.

Chris works as a full time freelance photographer for commercial business and enterprise and private commissions, recently winning ‘best photograph’ at the North East Social Enterprise awards. He also dedicates time to further develop his skills and techniques to create Art Images, capturing images and moments in our environment that people would not necessarily notice but are interesting to the eye.
